A. Spring clean up (Apr 1st – Apr 15th as weather permits)
1. Beds power edged (2in depth), excess dirt removed and saved for later area renovation.
2. Broken limbs removed from area trees.
3. Beds weeded and prep work done for mulch.
4. Perimeter of walks and driveways edged.
5. Leaves from previous fall gathered and disposed.
6. Trash and debris removed from lawns and mulch beds.
7. Weeds in seams of pavement pulled and sprayed to prevent further growth.
B. Turf Maintenance ( Weekly or as needed done)
1. Mowing of area lawns. ( Cut height as follows per contract)
2. Trimming around air conditioners decks and other obstacles missed by lawn mowing equipment.
3. Trash picked up before every mowing service is done.
4. Weekly mulch bed maintenance includes pulling weeds over 2 inches and removing trash from beds.
5. Grass clipping blown off sidewalks and driveways.
6. Turf Maintenance done every week as weather permits.
C. Herbicide Application (Application will meet the time requirements of the contract)
1. Weekly elimination of weeds from sidewalk cracks, driveways, parking lots and roadways.
2. Monthly complete elimination of weeds in mulch beds and tree islands done the every week of ever month throughout the mowing season.
3. All other herbicides for lawn weed control will be done to meet or exceed the standards of the landscaping contract as the best weed preventer is a lush vigorous turfgrass.
D. Shrub, Bedding and Tree Maintenance
1. Hand spread mulch prior to June 15th.
2. Bushes and plants that require trimming will be done before mulch is applied.
3. All other maintenance will meet or exceed the standards set forth in the landscaping contract.
4. Application of weed preventer will be applied before mulch.
5. Gutter cleaning available at additional cost.
